What personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
An email address and, optionally, a display name to create an account; records of what you have purchased and what access you hold; records of which lessons you have watched and how far; and records of how you move through the app, such as which screens and features you open and whether an action succeeded or failed.
Questions you ask the study assistant
When you type a question to the in-app study assistant, we receive that question in order to answer it. Please do not include personal details, passwords or payment information in it. These messages are not used to advertise to you and are not sold.
Why we collect it
To give you the access you paid for, to show you where you left off, to answer the questions you ask the study assistant, to find and fix faults in the app, and to answer support enquiries.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. Our public marketing sites carry no third-party tracking and set no advertising cookies.
Learners under 18
Most of our users are minors. We collect the minimum needed to operate an account and do not build advertising profiles.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We record the outcome of a payment and what it granted; we do not hold your card details.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account to be closed. To have your account and its data deleted, see delete your account and data.
